Welcome Parronts & Parrot Lovers!

Aparrontly started off shortly after we had adopted Oscar, our Eclectus as a way for me to connect with other parrot owners across the globe. Originally, I was just looking for a place to fit in, where I could relate to others who are just as passionate as I am. Afterall, most friends or family in my life were not interested in talking about what my bird's droppings looked like or want to hear about the new toys I bought my birds over and over.

Bird people though? I can drone on and on and we are both just as excited, offering advice (even if it's unwarranted) because we care and adore these feathery companions.

 You are my kind of people. 

What inspired me to begin rescuing, was seeing birds being kept in bad cage conditions, fed poor diets and starved for both enrichment & attention from their families. Not only did this hurt my heart and anger my soul, but this sparked a question within me that would not shake.

How can I help educate bird owners in order to raise the standard required for bird ownership so that I can help at least one bird, one family?

When it hit me that the population that keeps birds in less than ideal conditions are simply misinformed, I got excited. I decided to start with diet as this is one of the most important factors of parrot health.

Thus, this store was born! My goal is to be able to provide fresh, organic products when possible that can be fed dry, wet, cold, or warm for your absolute convenience! The vision was any 'parront' could feed a varied diet that was healthful, instead of harmful without breaking the bank or costing your time!
